Messerschmitt E-4 Enzian, was based on the pattern of the jet fighter Messerschmitt Me 163 "Komet". It was remote-controlled with a joystick but when enclosing a potential target an accustical detonator and infrared aiming-device "Madrid" took over. "Enzian" was not deployed under battle conditions and was turned down in favor of the "Wasserfall" and "Schmetterling" rockets.
