Boris Eremin (1913-2005) during the years of war has made 342 sorties, carried out more than 100 assault attack enemy positions, and participated in 70 air battles and shot down 23 German aircraft (8 person, 15 per group). He was twice shot down, wounded twice. Numerous awards, including six (!) Order of the Red Banner. Twice (1944 and 1945) was presented at the Hero of the Soviet Union, but the title was awarded only in 1991
