Swiss reislaufer/landsknecht. Costume made by Catany. She is from Zlin, city in Czech Republic and her major hobbies for last ten years (except making these pages- www.kostym.cz) are study of history, mainly clothing, sewing of costumes and historical fencing.
Reislaufer inspired by etchings of Urs Graf, Niklas Star, Hanse Sebald Beham and Daniel Hopfer (ca 1520-1530). It is made of blue, white, yellow and red felt. The jerkin and the shoes are made of dark red leather. Shirt and underpants are linen. The braids are created by lucet technique.
