The picot edge is one of my favorite turning edge techniques. This method not only creates a natural folding line, but it also adds an interesting edge embellishment. Some ways to use this might be for the hem of a pullover, or perhaps on the edge of hat. I’ll leave the experimenting up to you, because the uses are unlimited to the whatever your imagination can dream up!

Left-Leaning Double Decreases: Slip, slip, slip, knit (sssk) by Sandi Rosner. It mirrors k3tog. To work this, slip 3 stitches individually as if to knit, insert the left hand needle in the front of these 3 stitches, and knit them together through the back loops. Because the orientation of the stitches is changed when they are slipped, the right-hand stitch can be stacked on top without twisting the stitches.
