Your body is a beautiful machine made up of millions of cells, all working hard and dedicated to the purpose of YOU.  Make friends with your body.  Treat her with love and kindness. She carries you through your entire life.  When you're tempted to judge her, look instead with loving eyes for things you can admire. When you're tempted to eat foods that hurt your stomach think about that factory inside your body, all of those cells and organs like a little factory of workers working so hard…

Take it day by day. . Changing my eating habits was a process. I'm not a fan of strict diets constant calorie counting or limiting the foods I love. I came up with a plan and I decided not to put too much pressure on myself - I took it one day at a time. The first thing I did was research - recipes different foods nutritional info - I wanted to eat the kind of food I like but in a healthy way. Hi everyone! I’m @danikabrysha from @modelmealskitchen and I am so grateful to be this week’s guest blogger. This is actually my THIRD time having this honor and with each year, my life has been more and more transformed by the Whole30. I did my first Whole30 in January of 2014 while living in NYC working as a plus-size model. I was in absolute shock after seeing how much my life could change in 30 days that I began a journey of total transformation. I had struggled with eating disorders my whole life and the Whole30 was the catalyst for my authentic food freedom. # I’d lost some weight with my new lifestyle and lost many of my plus-size modeling jobs, quickly finding myself 3 months late on rent in my West Village apartment. I knew that I had to share the power of clean eating with the world, and so I started cooking Whole30 meals in my tiny studio apartment kitchen and delivering them around NYC to anyone who would give me a chance. I called it "Model Meals", playing on the fact that as a model, it transformed my skin, hair, and nails, and also on being a role model for how to live and eat cleaner. Offering free recipes and healthy living resources that helped others lead a healthier life was so important to me. # After a few months struggling in NYC, I closed my little operation and made the move back to Orange County, California and into my parent’s garage where I’d live for two years to get my feet back on the ground. On August 2015, with the help of two wonderful business partners, @cammmay_ and @chefcathy, we launched Model Meals 2.0 from a commercial kitchen in Santa Ana. Now, two years later, Model Meals has grown into one of the top meal delivery businesses available, continuing to offer a 100% Whole30 Approved menu. We currently serve Southern California, and launch our NorCal deliveries in just a couple weeks, and have expansion outside California on the horizon. This week I’ll be sharing recipes directly from our kitchen as well as show you how I travel with all my food and incorporate the Whole30 into my life in everything I do.
