Réalisées pour la collection La Galaxie de Hachette, une partie de ces illustrations de pouvaient être trouvées ici mais il manquait tous les dessins en gris. Voilà ce manque comblé. À remarquer que Beuville a aussi illustré la version Bibliothèque Verte d'Oliver Twist de Charles Dickens (version allégée) mais j'ignore si on retrouve les mêmes gouaches couleurs dans ces deux livres.
