Disappointed to learn the Australian meat pie bakery, Pie Face has closed most of its NYC locations. Pie Face opened New York City locations at a rapid pace over the past few years, but the fast growth apparently didn't have the intended outcome. Now, six out of seven locations are closed. The last remaining location for baseball-sized pies with happy faces is at 36th St. and Ninth Ave. Or head to Dub Pies in Brooklyn, another Australian/New Zealand meat pie shop that's been open since 2003.
