The Best Street Art from the 2015 Nuart Festival in Norway
Earlier this month, Stavanger, Norway, hosted the 15th annual Nuart festival, a celebration of street art attended by international talents who demonstrate their craft throughout the streets, sidewalks, and walls of the town. Pictured here is a sculpture that Portuguese artist Bordalo II constructed on the wall of an abandoned building with a combination of garbage and paint.
While working on outdoor murals and other side projects, international artists have been busy creating a stunning indoor body of work for this year’s Nuart annual group exhibition, open to the public at Tou Scene, a former beer factory that is now a music and art venue.
This event is held twice a year, once in the Spring, once in the Fall. "Free to the public, the Fourth Avenue Street Fair brings together 400+ arts and crafts booths, 35+ food vendors, 2 stages, street musicians, food, jugglers, street performers, the ever so popular Free Tucson’s Children’s Museum’s kids hands-on-art Pavilion.
