I've tried each of these recipes personally and found them worth making again. Any descriptions or notes on pins are made by me, including any changed I made or would make next time.

Master Hayden’s butterbeer recipe. This is an absolutely fabulous hot butterbeer recipe. I just omitted the cinnamon because I didn't imagine it being that way in the books and I added a dash of salt to deepen the butterscotch flavor.

This bread pudding came out absolutely perfect (and prettier than the picture) the first time.  I used challah from Trader Joe's for the bread and now I'll never use anything else.

Rice pudding.  This is my go-to chilly weather late night snack.  It's not even very bad for you, and it's worth every bit of the 45-minute wait.  I make mine without raisins.

Buttermilk blueberry cake. Delish. I used a generous tsp. of lemon extract instead of lemon zest since I had it on hand. It also took closer to an hour to bake.

The famed brownie recipe from Baked NYC. When I finally put these suckers in the oven, I seriously doubted if they would wind up being worth the work (and they were a lot of work, no lie).  But the texture of these brownies alone is worth the price of admission, and the taste is just a tiny bit different from anything you've ever tasted.  I recommend serving them unadorned except for a simple dollop of freshly whipped cream.
