DDB Paris created for Voyages SNCF, a French travel company, the “Escape Machine”, a simple black cube with a red button that is activated when someone is brave enough to get to close. The cube starts by asking where the person would like to go and after this answer and push the button the cube produces a crazy celebration with fireworks, lights and all a arsenal of strange giant lips. Offering in the end to this brave person a “Escape Ticket”.
Sorcerers were powerful men in every culture and also in ancient Finland. Typically they were called for healing and protection purposes. They had the power of gods with which they could find out the cause of the problem and cure it. http://www.finnishmyth.org/FINNISH_MYTHS_CULTS/SORCERER.html
Last night's thunderstorm. In Finnish mythology, Ukko is the god of the sky, weather, harvest and thunder. The Finnish word for thunder, Ukkonen, is the diminutive form of the name Ukko. Ukko is the most significant god of Finnish mythology.
Myths, Culture and Feelings from the Ancient Finland "Finns have the power of darkness, Finns are wizards This was the cry of the Viking warriors who feared nothing... nothing but the power of the Finns in their dark forests." According to my husband we also have other deterrents: an unusual love for paying taxes, butter and uncomfortable chairs. ;)
