PROPERTIES PROMOTION 🙄
I published an article on Mindsers Blog to explain what is “Constructor properties promotion”. It is something new in PHP, but was already available in other languages like TypeScript. Then I guess you already used it, even though you don't know how it is called. Bravo! In short, it is the capacity for you to simplify your class constructor. The compiler will decide how to create properties for the class based on the information found on the signature of the function.

Almost the end of the week and I'm not confident on my ability to deliver the feature we decided for this week. Did you already struggle with compilation on different environments? I did all day long today. The app with all our new features is working as expected on developers' computer and on GitHub Actions containers. But Heroku still finds bugs at places we didn't touch since last release and prevent us to deploy the new version.

CODER LIFE HACK 🧑‍💻
I already talked about automation here and about the fact that it improves my developer life daily. Automation isn't the only way to improve your coder life. As you see in the picture, there are also physical devices that could help! Stream decks aren't only for streamers. I use it as well for contextual shortcuts in zoom, in photoshop, etc. It is programmable, so you can do almost anything you want with it.
