via FB House of PoLeigh Naise Silk dress, 1909-1911, by Mrs. Dunstan, a well-known New York dressmaker. This high-style dress is a particularly good example of her work and exhibits some of the typical techniques used in that period, such as the bolero-and-vestee configuration of bodice and over-the-shoulder panels.
Trousseau dress, 1869. Dark brown silk poplin trimmed with light brown-yellow silk satin. Bodice has crew neckline with long sleeves & center front button closure. Skirt is full with cartridge pleats into waistband & small train. Belt has fishtail design at center back and closes with hook & eyes. Chicago History Museum
