Design Alvar Aalto pour Artek, 1932. Le fauteuil Paimio 41, à la fois imposant et léger, est l’une des 1ères et + belles créations d’Alvar Aalto. Créé en 1931 pour équiper le sanatorium de Paimio, projet qui a rendu Alvar Aalto célèbre dans le monde entier en tant qu’Architecte. Son assise et dossier moulées dans 1 seule pièce de contreplaqué offraient aux patients une position idéale pour profiter des rayons du soleil, tout en facilitant leur respiration.
