Phase 1 of Toronto's first ‘underpass park’, is a stone’s throw from River and King streets, near the Don Valley river. The park features striking public art, inviting climbing structures, two half-court basketball courts and skateboarding facilities. "Mirage, an innovative public art installation in the park designed by Toronto artist Paul Raff, uses mirrored stainless steel panels suspended from the overpass to reflect and bounce light within the space.” Phase 2 to come soon.
"Pae White, Ashen Roses, There, 2011" I love this! Here, it is hanging from the ceiling and nearly touching the floor(More as a work of art)...but I think if it were made into a smaller version, with a light in the middle casting unique shadows-this would make a great modern design chandelier. ;)
