Well, alllmosst finished 🔨 we are loving this IKEA built-ins hack and idk why we didn’t do it sooner!! FAQ We used Havsta cabinets for lowers and Billie bookcases for uppers. This allowed the shelves to go to the ceiling (we have 9ft. ceilings so we had to cut them down a bit). Next we added a connecting shelf with plywood and lattice trim. After caulking and using spackle to fill the millions of holes, we sanded and primed the cabinets for paint. I love this moody green paint! (1905 G...

Our main goal for this space is to add a wall of built-ins for extra storage and to display books/etc. We’re also planning on doing a desk in the middle of the built-ins where we can set up our computers and workspace!
