Sometimes my last minute ideas can be pretty awesome. Late last night I thought of having my students make a one pager to show what they’re thankful for instead of my original plans. This morning I quickly made a pre-sketch with pencil and then added it to our rotations for reading. My students did an awesome job with their one pagers and were so happy to share them! I loved their creativity and how they really showed gratitude for the things they have in their life.
