an origami star with a white background and gold border on the bottom corner

Made this super-fun card to share at my team meeting last night. we had such a good time I forgot to take any other pictures!! Oh well. I will try to get them to share them on our Facebook page so you can see what all we made. I used the new Star Framelits for the Big Shot to cut layers from Hello Honey and Whisper White, then just adhered them in alternating patterns, with a tiny star punch from Glimmer Paper in the center and a saying from And Many More on the banner. a white card with gold stars on it and the words true light are high - a wish for peace on earth tonight

My star Nestabilities were still on my desk from before Christmas so decided to use them for the CAS152 challenge - to use die cuts. Centered the medium one inside the card so it showed through the opening and added the small ones to the front of the card along with a wonderful sentiment. I participate in the SCS Christmas Card Challenge so this will be my first January card…

Last month I got the So Many Stars bundle with the Stitched Stars dies, and just had to make a Christmas card right away. I love monochrome, as you know, and when you add in metallics it's always an awesome thing. Unfortunately it didn't show up in the photo so well--what appears to be brown ink is actually gold heat embossing. The main body of the die cut is gold, but…

a christmas card with a nativity scene and stars on the top, featuring two baby jesus in a manger

Barb (barbaralynn), Kelly (MiamiKel4), and I have an extreme challenge once a month. We call it Ready? Set? Go! The idea is to have a challenge theme that is a little more challenging than the average challenge. We rotate who comes up with the theme. This month it was Barb's turn. Since it's mid-December and we're all busy getting ready for Christmas, Barb went easy on us this month. She asked us to make Christmas cards - with a metallic element. Oh my! Sounds easy, but I don't do glittery…
