The next artist I found is Tom Moberg, and his medium of choice is drywall mud. He takes actual tree branches and incorporates them into wall art. Cool! DIY: Create Wood Mold – cut wooden pieces into your design- they need to be slightly smaller than the place where they’re being positioned so it can be covered with mud. Install the Wood Mold – secure into place using nails. Cover it with drywall netting / tape, securing the mold in place. Put mud in Place – Do this using a thick layer of drywall mud & putty knife, Texture. 48 hours drying. Sand as desired.
