Cindy made this great quilt for her granddaughter using Tula Pink's All Stars collection. She fussy cut the center of the blocks to highlight the animals in this fabric line. Cindy said she purchased this quilt as a kit at the Quilters Nine Patch in Elmira, ON but did not know the pattern name. Cindy asked for thick batting so I used Quilters Dream Puff, it is fluffy and light, great for a kids bed quilt. I quilted it with the Fascination pantograph and used light pink So Fine thread. This is Smitten 2, a 16 month BOM from Pink Door Fabrics, with Tula Pink prints. Hand sewn using the EPP technique, then I have machine quilted it to finish This quilt is on the more expensive side, but I only charge for materials, not my make time, and this is an expensive quilt to have made! All of my quilts are machine washable, on a 30 degree cool wash and line dried I sell my quilts unwashed, however if you want the more authentic heirloom crinkled look, just give it a wash
