This year is the five-year anniversary of my first thru-hike on the Pacific Crest Trail and to celebrate, I’m getting back on trail again for another thru-hike and heading southbound. As I get ready to get back out on the trail again this year, I wanted to share 10 things I wish I knew before my first thru-hike on the Pacific Crest Trail. I learned a ton of lessons on my first PCT thru-hike back in 2018 so here are all of the things I plan on doing differently this year for my hike.
