Here is the Nolan Miller sketch of the pink beaded Alexis gown seen in season 5 and 7 of Dynasty. This is a working sketch, as you can see from the notes written in pencil by Nolan on the sides. Here is another gorgeous Elizabeth Taylor gown that Nolan designed with the same signature bustier cut. Nolan designed roughly a dozen or so gowns for Elizabeth with this same cut in different colors and with other minor variations. This design concept was inspired by the period costumes Nolan designed for Elizabeth for her TV movie "Poker Alice", which was set in the early 1900's.
