Mexican spirit animals

Dante is a major character of the 2017 Pixar animated feauture film Coco. He is Miguel's pet dog and best friend. Dante will meet Princess Yuna and her friends in The Journey Back to Life Part 1.

This was my submission for the Character Design Challenge this month, Alebrije Creature Chico. She is a hybrid between peacock, cat and deer. The submissions are mostly illustrative character designs, so I wanted to do a Character Design as I would do for a game company or animation company. Not only the illustration, but also the poses of the character to give insight of the personality.
