This was the easiest method I could figure out! 1️⃣ MEASURE: I measured the size of the opening, took off 1/8” for each gap (all around edges and in between each drawer) and divided the height by the number of panels. For me, this worked out to be the exact width of the 1x8 board! (Tip: I added a 3/4” piece of trim at the very bottom to close the gap… without this, the panels…
