Here’s what they do for your body: Improve Posture: Chin tucks help correct forward head posture by aligning the head over the shoulders, reducing neck and upper back strain. Strengthen Neck Muscles: They target and strengthen the deep neck flexors, supporting better head and neck alignment. Reduce Neck Pain: By relieving tension and promoting proper posture, chin tucks can alleviate and prevent neck and shoulder pain. Have you also been to ENTs, neurologists, the eye doctor, vertigo specialists for BPPV treatments and had all sorts of text but everything comes back ‘normal’ and nothing works?

Well, there are three parts to the vestibular system, which includes vision, inner ear and proprioception. Proprioception means there are receptors in your tissues that tell you where your body part is moving in space. When this information is erroneous, it sends mis-information to the brain causing dizziness. When it comes to the SCM or sternocleidomastoid muscle, there are two major implications when it comes to dizziness…

POSTURE | BACK PAIN | MOBILITY | EXERCISES on Instagram: "Side headache? Back headache? Top headache?

Regardless of which, they could all be tension headaches coming from the suboccipital muscles, which are found just below your head.

For some quick relief, here’s a quick stretch to get you through it: 👇

Step 1: Place your right hand on the back of your head.

Step 2: Place your left knuckles on your chin.

Step 3: Simultaneously push your head forward with your right hand and your chin backward with your left hand, thus creating a stretch in the back of your neck.

That’s it! How good did that feel? 🙌
