Clown week Day 1: For each day of clown week im trying out a different clown look. This is my attempt at a hobo clown. Hobo or tramp clowns are a type of character clown that originated in the late 1800’s. Popularised by emmett kelly their makeup consists of white paint around the eyes and mouth giving them a sad look and a black grease paint beard (i tried this and it looked gross lol). They are often the but of the joke and are based off of the hobos of the time. #clown #hobo #clownweek
