Cut 6-8 pieces of cardstock folded in half as petals for each flower. Arrange them and staple together

For the centers, I cut circles with fringe from a recycled coffee sleeve (it had great texture!) and painted yellow before gluing them to the flowers. Egg cartons would also be good for this

Next, cut strips of green (I liked this gingham pattern on scrapbooking paper) and loop through a petal connecting the ends with tape. Place three green links between each flower

I used some left over small wool felt balls to start each of my yarn balls, but you could use a wood bead or some fabric.
