Award-winner Dicentra formosa 'Bacchanal' (Pacific Bleeding Heart) is a spreading rhizomatous perennial adorned with a gray-green, finely divided foliage and short racemes of nodding, heart-shaped, deep crimson flowers. Blooming from late spring to early summer, the flowers dangle gracefully above the lush foliage mound.

The fern like leaves and pink heart shaped flowers will begin to appear in the early summer and bloom sporadically until the fall.
