I built a new gaming PC to get back to my roots and hacked an IKEA cabinet in the process to keep my desk clean and the new rig hidden away. It looks like I only have one Macbook Pro in that photo…

We love that Sundis’ computer tower hides within the desk, hidden from plain sight. But what’s the white dome thing on the floor next to the desk?More photos after the jump…JBL subwoofer sitting on the side, part of the JBL – Spot 2.1 Speaker System.

But one DIY designer wanted to imagine what computer furniture would look like if it had existed in the 1950s—and he wants your help getting the authenticity just right.

a wooden table with an electronic device on it's top and bottom shelf in the shape of a bookcase

Thanks to both Jeffrey Stephenson and you, our Core77 readership! Back in July we posted some shots-in-progress of Stephenson's Mid-Century Modern PC tower design, seeking your input on some of his design queries; just this morning he's e-mailed us shots of the finished product.
