I LOVE the look of woven wood window shades but the price tag on those for 4 windows that I won't ever close is HEFTY. Especially when you throw in a couple custom size windows (I'm looking at you bay window!). Today I'm sharing how I made my own faux bamboo blinds for $40 TOTAL for all four windows. It's a total hack and it's also the one thing I've been asked to share a tutorial for the most since we started remodelling our new place last year!
