It's been a busy weekend for card making! Yesterday I had the honor of being Godmother to the sweetest boy! Here's the card I made for his baptism. I really love how clean and simple this is. I used the retired Special Blessings set from Stampin Up. I embossed the cross and the sentiment on to Baja Breeze cardstock and layered it onto my Papertrey Ink white cardstock. Thanks to Jan Brown and her lovely card, I was able to create one similar for my niece's Baptism. As you can see, I changed a few things with the stamp sets, dies that I had on hand. I've had a run of Baptism cards lately, but this time I had to make one for a baby boy. I stamped the cross from the Special Blessing stamp set onto Bashful Blue card stock using white Kraft ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. I also stamped poka dots onto the Whisper White card stock base and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I used the Top Note die to cut out the Whisper White and Bashful Blue top notes.
