This is the result of my studies on Aztec architecture. Basically, their houses were of two general types - common houses, and nobility houses. In this artwork I pictured what the Aztec Noble's house would have looked like. Of course, I exaggerated some features, and simplified others, but in general, I believe that I managed to convey the general form as it used to be and to add my personal interpretations on the design.

Architect Robert Stacy-Judd designed and built the Aztec Hotel in 1925 in a mix of Mayan Revival, art deco and Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. It was built along the original alignment of Route 66 and soon created a national interest in similar building design.
