Turtle fractals in AutoCAD using .NET - Part 5 | Mathematics art, Fractals, Turtle graphics

Once again I've ended up extending this series in a way I didn't originally expect to (and yes, that's a good thing :-). Here are parts 1, 2, 3 and 4, as well as the post that started it all. After thinking about my initial 3D implementation in Part 4, I realised that implementing pen colours and widths would actually be relatively easy. Here's the idea: Each section of a different width and/or pen colour is actually a separate extruded solid Whenever we start a new section we start off by…

Projection of a Five-Dimensional Cube

Well, really a projection of the edges of a five-dimensional cube to the plane. In this particular image, edges between red and blue vertices are colored green. Half the edges in each direction (horizontal, vertical, and three different directions that appear as diagonals) are colored green; as demonstrated here, this can be accomplished using only 8 blue vertices.

A 4th dimensional cube rotating in 4th dimensional space goes through itself. Thus there is a reliance on forces to keep parts of people and things loosely together and keep them doing what they should be doing. Arcadia - Paradox - Cheryl Feeley
