Her indoor crate door is left open all the time (expect when we are gone or sleeping) so she lets herself out whenever she needs to go! Yes, we clean it out regularly! And the cedar chips do a great job absorbing! This is solely her bathroom area. She gets lots of walks & outdoor playtime outside of this space! It’s so nice to not have to worry about kids stepping in poo while playing outside! I’d love to eventually revamp this space and make some improvements but right now this works so well for us!
