Y'all know how much I love & value the foundations of strength training, but I believe it's important to implement functional work consistently & just as much.It allows our body to adapt better day-to-day when we train through certain unconventional movements ( hi my Trader Joe's employees/grocers... this would be great for you!!) Here are a few examples of how to create that upper body resilience, where the focus is on (a) strength thru resistance, (b) stability by training unilaterally & changing load positioning, (c) body control by forcing our core to stay involved, (d) endurance by engaging similar muscle groups repetitively, & (e) power by changes in tempo.
