A systematic review of yoga for state anxiety: Considerations for occupational therapy. This CJOT article is a systematic review to study the evidence presented on the effectiveness of yoga as a treatment intervention for state anxiety. 25 studies were reviewed and evidence suggested that yoga can be a therapeutic technique for decreasing state anxiety. When recommending this intervention, occupational therapist must consider the intensity of the program, client values, and client factors.
