Gordon Scott  (1926-2007) was an American film and television actor known for his portrayal of the fictional character Tarzan in five films (and one compilation of three made-as-a-pilot television episodes) of the Tarzan film series from 1955 to 1960.

He played in Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Tarzan, many westerns.

Eddie Redmayne on what he wants in Fantastic Beasts 2: “What I would love is… did you hear in this film a lot about him being in a field for a year, and Newt having spend a year out in Equatorial Guinea. I kinda would love to see him out sort of Tarzan-ing basically. I’d love to see him like, properly out in Equitorial Guinea, Egypt, or somewhere doing…you know, out of the field…maybe taking off his coat.
