St Helens Town Hall: overlooking Victoria Square -a place where nothing ever happens. Once the hub of the town where buses dropped off their passengers centrally into the shopping hub of streets. Now a wide empty square for councillors to enjoy peace and quiet - boring - even Victoria's statue was displaced to the edge. How to spend lots of good money and achieve absolutely nothing. Originally the clock was a spire until a fire destroyed it.
