AltaStrada in Wellesley, MA: I fancy the restaurant, but they also have a Market in the basement where they have take out. When Rick and I first went here, we wanted to re-live the Dominic eggplant parm sub, so we ordered Alta's version, and they came close to quenching that. The eggplant meat nestles comfortably in rustic Italian bread all toasted - enough to leave a pile of crumbs under your neck. The cheese politely oozes out and sits in red and white checkered wax paper. Nice touch Alta.
