There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more. ~ Lord Byron
Lord Byron. Julia Cameron, the author of the "Artist's Way" taught me to write and I cannot go a day without putting pen to paper. After many years in recovery this is my means of abstaining. One learns that to recover is to deal with a lifetime of memories that we suppressed in active using. Writing makes it happen.
Lord Byron- I love this...reminds me of someone "they knew not i knew thee who knew thee too well...long long shall I rue thee ,too deeply to tell." "I hear thy name spoken, a knell to my ear, a shudder comes o'er me, why wert thou so dear?" ain't that the truth!
