Henry Clive (1882-1960). Born in Australia and raised on a sheep farm, he was a magician, painter and magazine illustrator. He traveled the world as a magician and played the best theaters. He left the stage around 1911 for a successful career as an illustrator. He moved to Hollywood in 1929 and became famous as a designer of film posters. He was also prominent as a painter of magazine covers. He also did many of the illustrations for Thayer's catalogs of magic. He died of lung cancer.
Unexplained changes to the fingernails can be a sign of several types of cancer.
