KATHLEEN HANNA - She said this during a Bikini Kill show when she told the guys in the audience to move to the back so that the women could be up front. This was standard at their shows since moshing would usually break out among men and it would become too dangerous for women caught in the middle of it, and she didn't want that. I love this quote  because even though she sort of meant it literally, it perfectly captures the Riot Grrrl spirit.
