Pema, 21 ans, et Choekyi, 32 ans, sont soeurs bouddhistes dans un couvent d'obédience tibétaine de Dharamsala au Nord de l’Inde. L’une est indienne, l’autre australienne. Toutes deux sont de la nouvelle génération de soeurs bouddhistes qui ont accès depuis les années 90 seulement à une éducation de qualité, au même titre que les moines. Pema et Choekyi sont passionnées par l’art du débat philosophique.
