Waterproof Photo Tiles I used some basic white ceramic tiles (20¢ each) and painted a coat of Mod Podge right onto the glossy part of the tile and laid my photo flat. I let them dry for about an hour, then did another layer of Mod Podge right on top of the photo (it dries clear), followed by three layers of clear lacquer. This project does take a few days since lacquer needs about three hours to dry in-between. They are waterproof, they can be used as coasters.

What You'll Need: 4x4 Tiles Felt Fabric Glue Photos Mod Podge Sponge Brush Acrylic Spray (Clear) What To Do: 1. Mod Podge the actual tile. 2. Place the photo on the center of the tile IMMEDIATELY after the tile has been 'mod podged' so the photo adheres better. Then, cover the photo with mod podge. May want several coats 3. Apply felt to the back of the tile with tacky glue. 4. 'waterproof' the coaster by spraying it with clear, acrylic, water resistant spray. May want several coats
