Immigrant of the Day: Olympic Swimmer Mike Alexandrov. Bulgarian-born Mike Alexandrov is competing for the US men's swimming team. He's a veteran competing in his third straight Olympic games, but his last two were for Bulgaria. He became American in 2009 and now swims for the red, white and blue. He actually grew up in the US, having arrived at the age of nine. Best of luck, Mike!

Ivan Petkov Kolev 1 November 1930 – 1 July 2005)was a Bulgarian football player and coach. He represented Bulgaria at both the 1962 FIFA World Cup and the 1966 FIFA World Cup, He also played for the Bulgarian Olympic team and won a bronze medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics.
