A gem set gold mounted enamelled silver gilt case by Carl Fabergé, rectangular form, enamelled with opaque pink, blue, white and green stripes, mounted with a gold border chased with acanthus leaves, the push piece a cabochon mounted sapphire. Chief Workmaster: Henrik Wigström, St. Petersburg, 1911. 8.5cms by 5.8cms by 1 cm. Provenance: Purchased by Lord Alington from Fabergé's London branch on 4th April 1914.
