Sent in by Kevin Sundgren, with the following. 1955 ~ 2022 View down King Street to Darling Harbour and Wharf 23 on Day Street which has given way to to the exit of the Western Distributor and Sydney Aquarium. On the corner of Sussex Street we have the former Bank of NSW (L) & the Slip Inn (R). This image from a glass plate negative, produced in about March or April 1930, shows the Sydney Harbour Bridge under construction with the two arches nearing connection and the stone pylons incomplete. The photograph was take from Lavender Bay on the North Shore and in foreground are the dual railway lines that lead to the North Shore terminus and replacement Milsons Point wharf. Sent in by Kevin Sundgren, with the following. 1939 ~ 2023 Eddy Ave that runs alongside Central Railway Station.
