Sgt Michał Brzezowski, Sgt Stefan Wójtowicz and Sgt Eugeniusz Szaposznikow (left to right) of No 303 Squadron RAF stand in place at RAF Northolt in 1940. They had been veterans of the Polish and French campaigns before joining the squadron in August. While Brzezowski and Wójtowicz failed to return from combat in September, Szaposznikow survived the Battle of Britain, with 8 victories and 1 probable to his credit.
