Diamond tiara, by André Falize, Paris, Mellerio dits Meller. The tiara is platinum and set with brilliant cut diamonds. It dates from 1911 and bears the signature of Andre Falize, Paris.
Diamond Diadem of Henckel von Donnersmarck, family can be traced back to 14th century, roots in Central Europe. Acquired by an ancestor of the current count, who was a special envoy and minister plenipotentiary to the German embassy in Copenhagen. Kaiser Wilhelm II spent a few weeks touring Northern Europe on his yacht Hohenzollern. Probably purchased in 1906 when the Kaiser combined his annual trip with attending coronation in June of King Frederic VII of Denmark.
