Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002), was a prominent French-American artist, self-taught sculptor, painter and filmmaker. She is best known for her abstract sculptures made of fiberglass and mosaic or painted polyester. They explode with color, light and brightness. Influenced by both Bomarzo and Park Guell, she created imaginative creatures that celebrate the diversity of life.
