Papa Mfumu’Eto 1er, artiste-bédéiste-anthropologue, a réalisé une série d’œuvres de petit format mettant en scène le quotidien des Congolais à travers leurs objets et biens de consommation courants. Indispensables à la vie quotidienne des Kinois, ils emblématiques d’un lieu et d’une époque. Installé au cœur d’un quartier populaire de Kinshasa, Papa Mfumu’Eto 1er poursuit la narration colorée de la société populaire de son temps.
